Role & Responsibilities

  • Support R&D teams in formulation and development of colour cosmetics and texture systems, preparing and executing bench-scale trials under supervision.
  • Perform sample preparation, dosing, dispersion and reproducible bench work following established protocols and safety rules.
  • Conduct analytical and instrumental measurements related to colour and texture (e.g., colourimetry, rheology/texture assessments) and record results accurately.
  • Execute stability, compatibility and accelerated ageing tests; monitor samples, log findings and escalate deviations to supervisors.
  • Maintain laboratory cleanliness, calibrate and assist in routine maintenance of equipment, and ensure compliant sample traceability and documentation (batch records, notebooks, LIMS entries where applicable).
  • Contribute to technical reports, experimental summaries and cross-functional meetings with quality, production and packaging teams.

Qualifications

  • Enrolment in an accredited technical or university programme in chemistry, cosmetic science, materials science or a related discipline (BTS/DUT, Licence Professionnelle or Bachelor's) and available for alternance starting October 2026.
  • Solid practical laboratory skills with strong attention to detail, manual dexterity and an aptitude for precise measurement.
  • Familiarity with basic analytical methods relevant to cosmetics (colourimetry, texture/rheology testing) and standard laboratory safety/GMP practices.
  • Organisational skills and ability to produce clear technical records and experimental reports.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within cross‑functional teams and follow scientific protocols under supervision.
