Chanel (Neuilly‑sur‑Seine) seeks a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (alternance apprenticeship) to join the IT platform team starting October 2026.
Role & Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design, deployment and operation of cloud infrastructure (IaaS/PaaS) to support internal applications and digital services.
- Automate provisioning and infrastructure lifecycle management using infrastructure as code and configuration management tools.
- Operate and maintain container platforms and orchestrators, ensuring reliability, scalability and secure configuration.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, release automation and environment promotion processes in partnership with development teams.
- Monitor system health and performance, perform incident response and root‑cause analysis, and propose remediation to improve platform resilience.
- Apply security best practices and participate in compliance, change control and documentation of architecture and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders — developers, network, and security teams — to deliver production‑ready platforms and migrations.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an accredited engineering school, university or technical programme in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent and eligible for alternance/apprenticeship starting October 2026.
- Solid foundation in Linux system administration and shell scripting (Bash) with a methodical approach to troubleshooting.
- Practical knowledge of cloud concepts (compute, storage, networking, IAM) and familiarity with at least one major public cloud provider.
- Experience with containerisation and orchestration technologies and a strong interest in platform automation and DevOps practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams, with clear written and verbal communication; professional French and English are advantageous.

Suitable for candidates at the start of their professional career; prior internships, academic projects or personal projects demonstrating hands‑on work with Linux, scripting, containers, cloud services or infrastructure-as-code are expected.
Education
Enrolled in an engineering school or university programme in computer science, IT, or an equivalent technical discipline, with eligibility for a French alternance/apprenticeship contract.
