CHANEL is hiring a Client Marketing Manager in Istanbul to lead client marketing strategy across its Türkiye Fashion and WFJ boutiques, covering client intelligence, engagement, services, top-client development and events. The role works closely with boutique teams and Europe Marketing, manages associated budgets and performance, and requires a master’s degree and at least five years of luxury fashion client marketing experience.
Role & Responsibilities
- Instill a client-centric mindset across boutique teams and define client engagement and development strategies for each boutique.
- Set quantitative client development objectives for each boutique in collaboration with Europe, tailored to each boutique’s challenges.
- Define client engagement initiatives and provide supporting assets to Türkiye Fashion boutiques.
- Deploy strategic client data projects and tools, including Pioneer and Carat, and ensure adoption in boutiques.
- Monitor boutique client activity monthly using dashboards that evolve with business challenges.
- Define and deploy the gifting strategy across boutiques.
- Manage and promote the quality of the client database, including data capture and updates.
- Ensure boutique-wide compliance with data privacy guidelines and drive the adoption of new ways of working.
- Implement in-store client services from welcome through follow-up, including Retail team and client engagement with the CHANEL & Moi program in partnership with Operations and Learning teams.
- Monitor client satisfaction indicators, including Pulse Index, Voice of Client survey and Competitors Pulse Index, in liaison with European teams; define action plans with the Türkiye Education & Style Development Manager team to achieve service excellence in line with the relational promise.
- Elevate boutique hospitality standards through OBOS and animate the client coordinator community.
- Deploy digital client-experience tools, such as Waitwhile and inChanel, ensure boutique adoption with Operations and Learning teams, and provide regional teams with feedback on required developments.
- Drive each boutique’s events plan, connect it to the overall client strategy and align it with Europe region budget guidelines.
- Coordinate event organization with local, internal and external partners.
- Define the top-client strategy across gifting, services, communications and experiences in partnership with the Europe region.
- Systematize event monitoring and measure quantitative, qualitative and sustainability impact.
- Develop the top-client pool and ensure service excellence through the hospitality network.
- Define budgets for all three missions in line with budget guidelines, monitor expenditure and measure return on investment.
- Communicate daily with boutiques and the Europe Marketing team to ensure consistent delivery of CHANEL’s message and image.
- Collaborate with Türkiye Fashion and WFJ Corporate Office team members, Türkiye boutique managers, the Europe Marketing Fashion Team, Local Sustainability and Indirect Procurement teams, and boutique Client Marketing Managers.
- Undertake additional duties as requested by the Fashion & WFJ Director Türkiye and according to business needs.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Marketing, Fashion or a related field.
- At least 5 years of successful Client Marketing experience in the luxury fashion sector, with a proven track record in a global or regional role.
- Background in event management, marketing and/or communications, or equivalent long-term client marketing experience.
- Experience defining strategic fashion marketing plans for luxury brands and managerial marketing experience in multibrand environments.
- Experience working closely with European fashion marketing teams to align European and local client marketing objectives.
- Previous managerial marketing experience and long-term fashion boutique experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills; agility and the ability to listen to and understand different boutique needs and challenges in a multicultural environment.
- Client-driven, passionate about Retail and keenly interested in Retail and client excellence.
- Turkish is required; fluent English; French is an asset.
