Chanel seeks a Marketing Client Assistant for a 6-month internship in Paris boutique retail, beginning July 2026, combining CRM and event coordination.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage and support the client loyalty program, including vendor follow-up, new client integration, retention initiatives, and performance tracking
- Prepare and facilitate clienteling workshops for top-tier customers
- Conduct client analysis including segmentation, local market assessment, and VIP customer identification
- Maintain and monitor customer databases, including milestone tracking such as birthdays and special occasions
- Manage client gift inventory and order fulfillment
- Assist in team briefings and information sessions on marketing activities and client trends
- Monitor and analyze mystery shopper reports and customer satisfaction surveys
- Track Google reviews and analyze customer satisfaction metrics
- Monitor and manage digital tools for store staff and customers (iPads, iPhones), including software updates and vendor feedback collection
- Conduct competitive market research on customer experience benchmarks
- Coordinate event logistics including vendor sourcing, staff follow-up, attendance tracking, and budget management
- Gather qualitative customer feedback from sales associates following events
- Analyze return on investment for all events and activities
- Monitor competitive event strategies
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a business school or university program
- First professional experience in retail or marketing/CRM
- Strong analytical capabilities
- Fluent English proficiency
- Proficiency with office technology and software tools
Skills
Experience
First professional experience or internship in retail, marketing, or customer relationship management within the fashion or luxury goods sector.
Education
Currently pursuing a degree from a business school or university program.
