Chanel is hiring a Client Insights & Intelligence Manager in Hong Kong SAR to lead fashion consumer research and analytics for Hong Kong & Macau.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end consumer insights agenda for Fashion across Hong Kong & Macau, translating primary and secondary research into actionable commercial recommendations.
- Design and execute quantitative and qualitative studies (surveys, focus groups, ethnography, shop-alongs) tailored to local market nuances and omni‑channel behaviours.
- Build and maintain customer segmentation and propensity models to inform assortment, CRM, clienteling and marketing initiatives.
- Partner closely with CRM, retail operations, merchandising and digital teams to operationalise insights and track impact on KPIs (LTV, conversion, retention).
- Develop and present concise, board‑level insight reports and dashboards that distil complex data into strategic narratives for senior stakeholders.
- Manage external research agencies, vendors and data suppliers; set briefs, oversee fieldwork and ensure methodological robustness and data quality.
- Ensure compliance with local data privacy regulations and internal governance standards in all insight activities.
- Champion insight-driven decision making across the business through training, workshops and stakeholder engagement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Statistics, Economics, Business, Data Science or related; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in consumer insights, market research, customer analytics or a closely related function, preferably within luxury fashion or premium retail.
- Proven experience designing mixed‑method research and translating findings into commercial strategy.
- Track record managing agencies and cross‑functional projects in fast‑paced retail environments.
- Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills with experience briefing senior executives.
- Deep familiarity with the Hong Kong and Macau luxury consumer landscape and retail market dynamics.

Experience
At least 5 years in consumer insights, market research or analytics with demonstrable experience in luxury fashion, premium retail or related sectors; prior exposure to the Greater China market is highly desirable.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Statistics, Economics, Business, Data Science or equivalent; Master’s degree or industry certifications preferred.
