Chanel Client Engagement Intern
Chanel in Tokyo seeks a Client Engagement Intern to support boutique clienteling, CRM and events for its Tokyo boutiques.

Role & Responsibilities
- Support boutique clienteling activities by preparing client dossiers, coordinating VIP appointments and managing follow-up communications to nurture long-term relationships.
- Maintain and enrich CRM records, inputting client data, tracking interactions and generating lists for targeted outreach and event invitations.
- Assist in the planning and execution of client events, trunk shows and private appointments, including logistics, guest lists and on-site client care.
- Produce concise client reports and basic performance analyses for the boutique management team, highlighting engagement trends and actionable insights.
- Provide front-line support in the boutique: greeting clients, facilitating consultations, coordinating with sales advisors and ensuring discreet, elevated service.
- Translate and localise client communications and marketing materials (as required), liaising with regional teams to ensure brand consistency.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a university programme in business, marketing, communications, hospitality or a related discipline.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a polished, client-focused demeanour and the ability to represent a luxury brand with discretion.
- Strong organisational aptitude, attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple administrative tasks under tight timelines.
- Professional proficiency in Japanese and business-level English preferred for effective client and cross‑functional communication.
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as required by boutique events and client appointments.
Skills
Experience
Previous retail, client services or internship experience in luxury goods, hospitality or customer-facing environments is preferred; demonstrated exposure to clienteling, events or CRM-supported outreach is advantageous.
Education
University enrolment or recent graduation in Business, Marketing, Communications, Hospitality or related field.
