CHANEL seeks a Client Development Manager to lead and develop a diverse boutique team, elevate client experiences, drive business, and equip the Boutique Director with critical business knowledge. The role includes in-store coaching, training, performance improvement, and local client development through community engagement, partnerships, and events; a flexible schedule includes late nights, weekends, and some holidays. The annual base salary range is $92,400–$120,000, with variable pay potentially offered.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Coach and inspire the team on the sales floor to deliver an elevated client experience.
  • Foster a positive working environment and a feedback culture that encourages diversity, mutual respect, and teamwork.
  • Provide initial and ongoing training and development for all team members, covering CHANEL savoir-faire, product details, and service delivery.
  • Lead the team with agility and resilience, using key performance indicators and lessons learned to drive continuous improvement.
  • Represent CHANEL in the market and develop the client base through community involvement, partnerships with local high-profile businesses, and social and seasonal events.
  • Drive boutique business, coach and manage a diverse team, and equip the Boutique Director with critical business knowledge.
  • Maintain an in-store presence to develop and coach teams, uphold boutique image and operational standards, and deliver elevated client service that drives business results.

Qualifications

  • Ability to thrive in a team environment and work collaboratively.
  • Understanding of and passion for client experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Foreign language skills preferred but not required.
  • Passion for the House of CHANEL, its history, product offerings, and commitment to social and cultural initiatives.
  • Curiosity and desire to learn and grow professionally within the world of CHANEL.
  • Ability to lift 15 lb.
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work late nights, weekends, and some holidays.
