Chanel Singapore seeks a Client Data Quality & Operations Assistant Manager (1-year contract) to lead CRM data governance and operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the client data quality and operations programme for Singapore, defining and enforcing data standards, governance rules and hygiene processes across CRM and retail systems.
- Design and manage routines for data cleansing, deduplication, enrichment and onboarding of client records in collaboration with retail, marketing and IT stakeholders.
- Implement and track KPIs and dashboards to measure data completeness, accuracy and operational SLAs; report insights and remediation plans to senior stakeholders.
- Coordinate cross-functional projects to integrate new data sources, migrations or system improvements, ensuring operational readiness and minimal disruption to front-line teams.
- Supervise and coach a small operations team and external vendors/partners responsible for day-to-day data maintenance activities.
- Ensure client data handling complies with applicable privacy and regulatory requirements (e.g., local data protection laws) and internal policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Management or a related discipline.
- Proven experience (typically 4–7 years) in CRM data operations, data quality or CRM systems — including at least 1–2 years in a team lead or assistant manager capacity.
- Demonstrable experience implementing data governance frameworks and quality-control processes in a retail or luxury environment.
- Strong stakeholder-management skills with experience working across retail, marketing and IT teams.
- Excellent analytical aptitude and proven ability to translate data metrics into operational improvements.

Typically 4–7 years of progressively responsible experience in CRM data operations, data quality or related roles, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or assistant manager position within retail, luxury or consumer-facing industries.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Science or a related field; professional certifications in data management or CRM are advantageous.
