Chanel is hiring a Fashion Advisor in Tokyo — deliver luxury client service, drive sales and represent the maison in a foremost retail environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, discreet client service consistent with Chanel’s house codes and luxury retail standards.
- Develop and maintain a personal client portfolio through active clienteling, follow-up and relationship building to drive repeat business.
- Achieve individual and store sales targets through persuasive selling, cross-selling and product storytelling.
- Maintain up-to-date product knowledge across apparel, accessories and beauty categories and present merchandise with exacting visual standards.
- Support stock management activities including inventory control, replenishment, receiving and accurate POS transactions.
- Contribute to store merchandising, window displays and seasonal floor sets to uphold brand aesthetics.
- Ensure compliance with all operational procedures, loss-prevention policies and luxury service protocols.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in luxury retail or high-end fashion sales, preferably within international maisons.
- Demonstrated clienteling skills with the ability to cultivate long-term customer relationships.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; strong presentation and consultative selling abilities.
- Professional demeanour, attention to detail and a commitment to discretion and confidentiality.
- Flexibility to work retail hours including evenings, weekends and holiday periods; willingness to travel within the Kanto region for client appointments or events as required.
Skills
Experience
Preferably 1–3 years of direct experience in luxury or premium fashion retail with a proven track record of meeting sales targets and managing client relationships.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or a degree in fashion, retail management or a related discipline is preferred.
