Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver an impeccable, personalized client experience consistent with Chanel's luxury standards through face-to-face sales, styling and clienteling.
- Develop and maintain a book of clients using proactive outreach, appointment setting and follow-up to nurture long-term relationships and repeat business.
- Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets while maximizing average transaction value and conversion rates.
- Provide expert product knowledge across apparel, accessories and complementary categories; advise on fit, fabric and styling.
- Support visual merchandising and boutique presentation to ensure windows and floor sets reflect seasonal directives and brand guidelines.
- Manage sales transactions, reservations and returns accurately using the boutique's POS and CRM systems.
- Collaborate with store colleagues and management on client events, private viewings and stock replenishment.
- Monitor inventory on-floor, assist with stockroom management and communicate client requests or size needs to the merchandising team.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated excellence in client-facing luxury retail or boutique sales; a polished, service-oriented manner.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and professionally.
- Commercial acumen with a track record of meeting or surpassing sales targets.
- Keen visual sense and attention to presentation detail consistent with high-end merchandising standards.
- Flexibility to work retail hours including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
- Fluency in Japanese and business-level English preferred; additional language skills are an asset.

Typically 1–3 years of retail experience, preferably within luxury fashion, accessories or premium beauty; proven sales performance and client acquisition experience preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or tertiary studies in fashion, retail or business preferred.
