CHANEL is hiring a Chinese Translator for its Bangkok travel retail airport boutique to provide Thai–Mandarin interpretation and support personalized service for Mandarin-speaking clients. This is an initial 6-month contract, with the possibility of extension based on business needs and performance; the role follows a roster-based schedule, including weekends and public holidays.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide accurate verbal interpretation between Thai and Mandarin Chinese for clients and boutique teams.
- Support Fashion Advisors in delivering personalized service to Mandarin-speaking customers.
- Facilitate effective communication while maintaining cultural sensitivity, commercial objectives, and the CHANEL brand image.
- Assist with client interactions, product presentations, and boutique operations requiring language support.
- Support other retail and administrative assignments as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in any related field.
- Strong proficiency in Thai and Mandarin Chinese; HSK Level 4 or above preferred.
- Previous translation, interpretation, customer service, or retail experience is an advantage.
- Good command of English is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a service-oriented mindset.
- Understanding of Chinese culture and customer expectations.
- Passion for fashion, luxury, and delivering exceptional client experiences.
- Comfortable working a roster-based schedule at the Suvarnabhumi airport boutique, including weekends and public holidays.
- Open to an initial 6-month contract, with the possibility of extension based on business needs and performance.

Experience
Previous translation, interpretation, customer service, or retail experience is an advantage.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in any related field.
