Chanel Category Management Intern

- Support the Category Manager in assortment and range planning across channels, ensuring alignment with brand positioning and commercial targets.
- Prepare and maintain sales, margin and inventory reports; analyse performance trends and translate data into actionable insights.
- Contribute to pricing, promotion and markdown planning; monitor sell‑through and replenishment needs to optimise stock levels.
- Coordinate with buying, planning, visual merchandising and retail teams to support product launches and in‑season adjustments.
- Assist in vendor communications and purchase order follow‑up to ensure timely deliveries and compliance with quality standards.
- Produce clear management presentations and pack materials for cross‑functional review and executive meetings.
- Participate in ad hoc projects to improve category processes, forecasting accuracy and assortment rationalisation.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold Chanel’s standards for product presentation and customer experience.
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's or Master's programme in Business, Fashion Management, Merchandising, Economics or a related discipline.
- Strong numerical and analytical aptitude with an ability to translate data into commercial recommendations.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced retail environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; professional demeanor and discretion when handling sensitive information.
- Commercial awareness of luxury retail dynamics and consumer behaviour preferred.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas)

- SAP (Retail / Merchandising module) — preferred

- Google Sheets
Previous internships or project experience in retail, merchandising, buying or category analysis is preferred; this role is suitable for candidates with limited professional experience seeking practical exposure to luxury category management.
Bachelor's or Master's level study in Business, Fashion Management, Merchandising, Economics or a closely related field (current enrolment or recent graduate).
