Chanel seeks a Cashier in Vancouver to manage POS transactions, deliver luxury client service and support boutique operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Execute accurate point-of-sale transactions across payment methods and perform end-of-day cash reconciliation in accordance with Chanel procedures.
- Deliver discreet, personalized luxury client service and assist sales advisors with clienteling and order processing.
- Maintain boutique presentation standards and support visual merchandising and stockroom organization.
- Process returns, exchanges and special orders while ensuring compliance with store policies and privacy requirements.
- Follow loss-prevention protocols, report cash or inventory discrepancies and escalate operational issues to management.
- Support the sales team during peak periods and contribute to a seamless client experience on the shop floor.
Qualifications
- Secondary school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of cashier or retail experience; experience in luxury or premium retail preferred.
- Demonstrable accuracy in cash handling and transaction processing, with strong numeracy.
- Impeccable personal presentation, professionalism and a client-focused demeanour.
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays and authorization to work in Canada.

Experience
At least one year of cashier or retail experience; prior experience in a luxury boutique or premium retail environment is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent.
