Role & Responsibilities
- Operate the boutique point-of-sale system and process all payment types accurately (cash, card, contactless).
- Maintain till integrity through precise cash handling, daily reconciliation and transaction reporting.
- Deliver discreet, client-focused service aligned with Chanel’s luxury standards and clienteling practices.
- Support the sales team with order processing, gift-wrapping, returns/exchanges and after‑sales documentation.
- Adhere to loss-prevention procedures, boutique cash policies and local fiscal regulations.
- Contribute to boutique presentation by assisting with merchandising resets and floor readiness.
- Record and escalate client enquiries or service requests to the appropriate sales or management contacts.
- Collaborate with store colleagues to ensure seamless guest flow during peak periods and events.
Qualifications
- Proven numerical accuracy and integrity in cash handling; trustworthy with transactional responsibility.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a polished, service-oriented demeanour suitable for a luxury clientele.
- Ability to work flexible retail hours, including evenings, weekends and peak seasonal periods.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintain Chanel brand standards and confidentiality.
- Previous experience in a luxury retail environment or high-end hospitality preferred.
- Basic digital literacy and the capacity to learn point-of-sale software quickly.

Experience
Preferably 1+ year of direct retail or boutique cashier experience, ideally within a luxury or premium-fashion environment; demonstrable experience handling transactions and reconciling tills under busy retail conditions.
Education
Secondary education or equivalent; vocational training in retail or hospitality is advantageous.
