Role & Responsibilities

• Welcome each client with generosity, attentiveness and professionalism, embodying CHANEL’s high standard of client relations.
• Build a personalized relationship with each client, anticipate their needs and create a distinctive in-store experience.
• Uphold and promote the CHANEL boutique charter, providing warm, impeccable service throughout the payment process.
• Gather client feedback and contribute to tailored solutions that enhance client satisfaction.
• Apply all internal and legal procedures governing payment processing, security and financial flows.
• Ensure every transaction complies with CHANEL payment and tax-refund policies.
• Use payment tools and IT systems correctly, and report malfunctions or irregularities.
• Support cash-desk administration, including opening and closing, discrepancy monitoring and legal documentation, while ensuring procedural rigor and compliance.
• Participate in cash-desk committees, share observations and best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement of the client experience and payment processes.
• Lead or co-lead team briefings to communicate cash-desk priorities, updates and objectives and bring teams together around them.
• Work closely with sales and stock teams to ensure a smooth client journey.
• Propose initiatives for the boutique’s CSR efforts, including waste reduction, recycling and community actions, and promote a responsible, sustainable experience aligned with CHANEL’s commitments.
• Contribute to boutique life by fostering a culture of mutual support, respect and shared excellence.

Qualifications

• Successful initial experience as a cashier in the fashion or luxury sector.
• Ability to handle urgent situations and find solutions.
• Proactive, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt to a constantly evolving environment.
• Organized, rigorous and versatile.
• Sensitivity to fashion and intercultural openness.
• Fluent English.

Experience

Initial successful experience as a cashier in the fashion or luxury sector.
