Chanel Cashier position in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam – 6-month contract role managing cash, invoicing, and retail administration.
Role & Responsibilities
- Process cash and card payments from customers, ensuring accurate verification and secure cash custody before depositing to safe
- Issue and verify sales invoices and VAT documentation in accordance with company protocols and Vietnamese regulatory requirements
- Reconcile daily cash received against daily sales figures and conduct cash inventory before handover
- Deposit previous day's cash receipts to bank each morning (excluding weekends and public holidays)
- Process customer deposits, returns, and credit note issuances with corresponding documentation
- Manage petty cash fund by verifying receipts and authorizing minor store-level expenses
- Submit petty cash documentation to accounting department on a regular schedule
- Arrange business travel bookings (flights, hotels), advance payments, and employee reimbursements
- Request and process payments for store services (cleaning, security, laundry, fragrance, florals) and sales support supplies
- Execute general administrative tasks as required
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of cashier or cash handling experience
- Secondary school education (12th grade) or equivalent
- Proficiency with Excel, point-of-sale systems, and card payment terminals
- Preferred: prior cashier experience in luxury fashion, watches, or jewelry retail
- Preferred: foundational knowledge of sales accounting practices
Skills
Experience
Minimum 2 years of professional cashier experience, with preference given to candidates who have worked in luxury retail environments (fashion, watches, jewelry).
Education
Secondary school education (Vietnamese equivalent or higher); basic proficiency in English language; operational competency with Excel spreadsheets, retail POS software, and card payment terminals.
