Chanel Paris: Permanent Business Supply Planning Manager for Costume Jewelry, Accessories, and Shoes. Lead end-to-end planning and allocation.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee the flow and delivery of finished products to boutiques in alignment with planning variations and local market dynamics, collaborating with Distribution and Demand Planning teams
- Ensure consistency between distribution plans, business priorities, and production and supply constraints
- Adjust delivery priorities to maximize product availability across the retail network and mitigate stock imbalances
- Proactively optimize reallocations to maximize business impact for boutiques and champion distribution arbitrage with Retail Merchandising teams
- Manage international transfers for VIC customer service excellence
- Establish and facilitate governance processes and decision-making rituals with internal teams and markets
- Identify tooling requirements and enhance existing systems to improve planning visibility and operational efficiency
- Monitor key performance indicators including stock levels, sell-through rates, allocation ratios, and delivery performance
- Develop and maintain dashboards for activity management and produce ad-hoc analyses to inform strategic decisions
- Challenge existing processes and propose continuous improvements to strengthen operational performance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher (business school, engineering school, or university)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar planning role (production planning, demand planning, supply planning, or forecasting)
- Fluent English
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with order management ERP systems (SAP, Orliweb, Anaplan, or equivalent)
- Strong data manipulation and analytical capabilities
- Public speaking and presentation skills
- Diplomatic approach with excellent stakeholder relationship management
- Ability to work effectively in a complex, multicultural, and remote environment
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years in production planning, demand planning, supply planning, or equivalent forecasting and supply chain roles. Experience in luxury fashion or complex international supply environments is advantageous.
Education
Bachelor's degree or higher from a business school, engineering school, or university.
