Role & Responsibilities

• Serve as the key contact between business teams and Tech and Digital in Singapore and Export Markets (Indonesia, Philippines and Cambodia), translating market requirements into a transparent roadmap aligned with regional and global applications.
• Understand market operations; capture, analyse and prioritise business requirements to support efficient planning and solutions that meet immediate and long-term objectives.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans for key initiatives, maintaining transparency across the organisation.
• Oversee Tech and Digital project delivery for Singapore and Export Markets, aligning conflicting timelines with stakeholders and regional teams.
• Manage project progress, steering committees, budgets and resourcing, and proactively identify and mitigate delivery risks.
• Lead change management and adoption of new systems, processes and ways of working; provide training or workshops for end users as needed.
• Develop and execute communications plans covering project milestones, changes and impacts.
• Drive ongoing application adoption beyond rollout, optimise application usage, track relevant KPIs and identify configuration, technical or process improvements.
• Maintain a holistic technical understanding of systems across Retail Tech, Corporate and Digital Solutions, including interdependencies and data flows.
• Act as the local contact for designing and implementing local system solutions, integrating them with existing ecosystems and regional architecture standards.
• Evaluate and recommend system enhancements or new technologies to address market needs and support business growth and operational efficiency.
• Manage local application lifecycles, including onboarding, maintenance and decommissioning.
• Coordinate issue resolution and escalation with local, regional and global teams.
• Ensure solutions comply with architecture, cybersecurity, data privacy, risk, procurement and regulatory requirements, engaging relevant regional and global teams throughout the lifecycle.
• Enable and leverage low-code and no-code solutions to address business opportunities; identify available regional and global solutions and propose them where appropriate.
• Develop and deliver low-complexity applications within the agreed framework, using the regional automation team or external vendors for more complex solutions.
• Manage relationships with locally appointed vendors in Singapore and Export Markets, establishing partnerships and ways of working that deliver agreed service levels and value.

Qualifications

• Strong business partnering and relationship management skills, with an influencing mindset.
• Solid project and change management experience, with a collaborative, transparent and delivery-focused approach.
• Working knowledge of enterprise business applications and integration landscapes across Retail, Digital and Corporate domains.
• Ability to understand business processes and identify opportunities for optimisation, automation and AI adoption.
• Ensure vendor management complies with Chanel procurement policies throughout the vendor lifecycle.
• Understanding of low-code/no-code platforms, workflow automation and emerging AI capabilities.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities, dependencies and stakeholders concurrently.
• Effective communication, stakeholder engagement, presentation and conflict management skills.
• Strong ownership, accountability and urgency, with a proactive approach to issue resolution and continuous improvement.
• Highly organised and self-motivated, able to work independently while fostering collaboration across teams.
• Experience managing cross-functional initiatives involving market, regional and external partners.
• Budget management and financial planning experience for technology and business initiatives.
• Ability to learn rapidly and quickly understand new technologies, systems and business domains.
• Retail, luxury retail or omnichannel experience preferred.
• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is advantageous but not required.
• At least 7 years of hands-on experience with Retail, Digital and Corporate systems, with a track record of successful implementations, ideally across more than one market.
• Experience delivering and managing end-to-end project lifecycles within global enterprise landscapes, involving internal and external teams, market, regional and global stakeholders, vendors and consultants.
• Experience implementing and delivering tactical solutions to meet business needs when enterprise solutions cannot do so.
• Experience across IT operations, project management, business analysis, vendor management and change management.
• Experience with retail and digital technologies, including POS, CRM, digital marketing and e-commerce.
• Experience with corporate systems and technologies, including ERP, WMS, HRIS, payroll, time and attendance, BI and AI tools.

Education

Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
