Chanel seeks a Business, Merchandising & Operations Manager in Istanbul to support boutique performance and coordinate operational projects. Fluent in English and Turkish required.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the performance management of Chanel's Fashion Boutiques in Istanbul and Bodrum.
  • Ensure product assortments align with the 'One Boutique One Story' and Fashion Europe strategy.
  • Strengthen and animate the community of Sales Managers and Operation Managers.
  • Promote local best practices to regional teams and report on specific needs.
  • Support boutiques on operational projects and topics.
  • Coordinate distribution projects including boutique openings, renovations, and relocations.
  • Build annual commercial objectives and coordinate monthly objectives with boutiques.
  • Conduct network performance analysis and build ad-hoc reports.
  • Lead performance improvement action plans such as incentives.
  • Participate in finance forecasting in collaboration with the Finance team.
  • Ensure Open-to-Buy (OTB) aligns with boutique needs and priorities.
  • Coordinate buying sessions and support Boutique Managers in assortment construction.
  • Pilot collection lifecycle and optimize collection performance.
  • Provide day-to-day support to retail teams for operational efficiency.
  • Monitor performance and impact of retail digital tools and systems.
  • Prepare and coordinate boutique openings, closings, renovations, and relocations.

Qualifications

  • Fluent in English and Turkish.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBI.

Skills

Advanced analytical capabilities. Strong product sensibility and interest in fashion. Excellent communication skills. Proven track record of coordination and project management. Ability to engage and work in synergy with different departments.

Experience

Extensive experience in retail, either within a retail environment or in a service capacity to retail.
