Chanel Business Intelligence Manager role in Hong Kong—monitor macroeconomic trends, benchmark competitors, and deliver strategic intelligence to North Asia leadership.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis of macroeconomic indicators, policy changes, geopolitical shifts, and global market developments affecting the luxury industry and business environment
- Analyse and benchmark key competitors' strategies, emerging challengers in the region, competitive positioning, and performance; identify competitive threats and whitespace opportunities
- Monitor and report on technology, social, cultural, and macroeconomic trends relevant to the luxury sector; identify emerging disruptions, opportunities, and risks
- Synthesize research findings into clear, actionable insights and present to senior stakeholders; prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to deliver timely, relevant intelligence for strategic business decisions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in economics, business, finance, or related field; Master's degree preferred
- 3+ years of professional experience in research, strategy, competitive intelligence, or business analysis roles
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Experience with data visualization and presentation tools such as Thinkcell, Photoshop, or Figma
- Familiarity with AI-based research and automation tools
- Fluent written and verbal communication in English and Mandarin Chinese; Korean language a plus
- Strong ethical standards, discretion, and demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
