Chanel seeks Business and Financial Analyst Intern in Geneva—6-month role analyzing global travel retail performance with Excel, Power BI.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Produce monthly reports on global travel retail performance and develop ad hoc analyses in response to management requests
  • Assist in building transversal financial analyses including dedicated P&L statements and KPI evaluation
  • Monitor and analyze industry key players' financial results and performance metrics
  • Cultivate and maintain partnerships with travel retail data providers and regional teams for data consolidation
  • Validate data for accuracy, consistency, and completeness across all reporting sources
  • Participate in the development and refinement of reporting tools in collaboration with IT teams
  • Support the Global Travel Retail Team with functional budget monitoring and analysis
  • Address cross-functional analytical requests from Chanel colleagues with responsiveness and precision

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from a business school or university, with a major in Finance preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in financial analysis, business analysis, or related role
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI
  • Fluency in French and English (written and verbal)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with an agile mindset
  • Proven ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams
  • Valid internship agreement meeting institutional requirements (part of study program, required for degree completion, validated by academic credits)
