Chanel seeks a Business Analyst & Product Merchandiser intern in Geneva for 6-month full-time internship starting January 2027.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the Head of Product Merchandising in managing all product lines across boutiques in Switzerland and Latin America
  • Prepare and monitor regular performance reporting (sales, inventory, sell-through, stock coverage months) and create Power BI dashboards for all retail locations
  • Develop presentations for diverse stakeholders including boutiques and senior leadership
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses aligned with business priorities and market dynamics
  • Monitor stock transfers, optimization initiatives, and inventory diversions
  • Audit existing purchasing support tools and recommend optimization or consolidation
  • Construct pre-buying analyses including offer structure and average pricing
  • Define reorder requirements before each buying session and track results throughout showroom periods
  • Prepare final buying result presentations and analyses
  • Support collection pricing in local currencies across markets
  • Conduct competitive intelligence including fashion week monitoring, pricing mapping, and tracking of capsule collections and collaborations

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master's degree from a business school or engineering school
  • First experience in marketing, merchandising, purchasing, or finance
  • Proficiency in English
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong numerical aptitude and analytical mindset
  • Ability to work autonomously and adapt to changing priorities
  • Power BI proficiency is highly valued
