Chanel seeks a Boutique Visual Merchandiser in Bangkok to execute luxury window displays and in‑store visual direction.
Role & Responsibilities
- Translate global visual merchandising directives into boutique‑level window and in‑store concepts that preserve brand identity and commercial objectives.
- Design, install and maintain seasonal window displays, feature fixtures and merchandising schemes across the boutique, ensuring immaculate execution and visual continuity.
- Collaborate closely with boutique management, sales teams and regional VM managers to schedule resets, product launches and promotional activations.
- Manage the boutique prop and mannequin inventory, including sourcing, storage, upkeep and logging of assets according to brand inventory procedures.
- Train and coach sales staff on visual standards, daily upkeep and basic styling techniques to maintain consistency between shifts.
- Monitor sales performance and conversion drivers related to display decisions; recommend adjustments to maximise visual impact and commercial return.
- Liaise with HQ, regional VM and store operations on timelines, logistics and compliance with health & safety and brand installation protocols.
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in visual merchandising, fashion, interior design or a related creative discipline preferred.
- Excellent aesthetic judgement with a deep understanding of luxury brand codes and window theatre.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and execute installations to exacting standards.
- Physical capability to undertake manual installation work and work at heights where required.
- Professional demeanour appropriate for client‑facing luxury retail environments; discretion and respect for client privacy.
Skills
Experience
Minimum of 3 years of hands‑on visual merchandising experience, ideally within luxury fashion or premium retail environments; experience executing boutique‑scale installations and coordinating with regional or head office VM teams is strongly preferred.
Education
Diploma or degree in visual merchandising, fashion, interior design or related field preferred.
