Boutique Supervisor at Chanel Singapore – Lead boutique operations and deliver luxury customer experiences in our iconic fashion house.
Role & Responsibilities
- Supervise and observe floor performance of fashion advisors, provide prompt assistance with customer enquiries, and resolve problems and complaints to ensure client satisfaction
- Assist the Head of Boutique and Deputy Head of Boutique in ensuring boutique teams maintain exceptional grooming and professional standards, and conduct regular image inspections
- Uphold brand image by performing daily checks on window and in-boutique displays to reflect seasonal collections and maintain visual merchandising directives
- Supervise the delivery of ultimate luxury customer experiences by incorporating Client Service Values in all service actions and demonstrating flexibility in policy application
- Monitor and enforce client engagement and relationship-building; provide feedback to management on team performance in customer recruitment and retention
- Ensure accurate daily cycle inventory counts, monitor merchandise handling, and adhere to company guidelines to prevent stock losses, pilferage, or damage
- Control and monitor customer traffic and staff movements to ensure sufficient sales floor coverage and operational efficiency
- Verify transactions and daily cash counting for accuracy; ensure daily sales documentation and paperwork are completed correctly
- Assist with daily boutique opening and closing procedures, including staff bag checks at shift end
- Gather and provide management with qualitative information on customer trends, competitor activity, and merchandise movement
- Foster teamwork and cross-boutique collaboration to promote a cohesive organizational culture
Qualifications
- Secondary School Graduate (University degree is advantageous)
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant retail supervisory experience
- Solid background in the retail industry
- Previous experience in fashion and luxury sectors
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and communication abilities
- Well-groomed and professional appearance
- Computer literacy
