Chanel seeks Boutique Sales and Operations Manager in Los Cabos, Mexico. Lead luxury retail operations, manage 5+ team members, drive sales performance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead team recruitment, selection, onboarding, and development aligned with Chanel standards and culture
- Coach boutique staff to elevate style expertise, operational discipline, and client service delivery
- Conduct regular performance reviews, development discussions, and training initiatives with team members
- Develop and implement the boutique business strategy and monitor achievement of commercial objectives
- Analyze business and product performance to optimize assortment, sell-through, and inventory
- Support boutique buying activities while respecting budget guidelines and the 'One Boutique, One Story' vision
- Ensure consistent delivery of exceptional client experiences aligned with Chanel standards
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while supporting boutique activations and events
- Lead by example on the sales floor and in client interactions
- Oversee all back-office operations, cash handling procedures, daily reconciliations, and bank deposits
- Ensure accurate invoice coding, record keeping, and administrative documentation
- Manage inventory operations, stock organization, cycle counts, and annual inventories
- Coordinate repairs, alterations, product transfers, and vendor follow-up
- Maintain organized, secure back-office areas according to Chanel standards
- Partner with Fashion leadership and Head Office on operational and commercial initiatives
- Deliver regular business and operational reports to regional and Head Office leadership
- Ensure adherence to Chanel procedures, policies, Health & Safety, and Security protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in luxury retail management, including boutique leadership, sales management, and operations
- Proven experience managing teams within a boutique environment
- Strong leadership and team development capabilities
- Strategic and analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and operational management skills
- Strong client experience mindset and luxury retail sensibility
- Technology savvy with operational systems awareness
- Fluent in English and Spanish; French is advantageous

Experience
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in luxury retail management, including demonstrated success in boutique leadership roles, sales team management, and retail operations oversight. Proven track record of driving commercial performance while maintaining exceptional operational standards.
Education
No specific educational qualification mandated; however, formal training in retail management, business administration, or luxury goods is advantageous.
