Chanel seeks a Boutique Operations Assistant Manager intern in Monaco. Six-month role supporting retail operations, analytics, and back-office functions.
Role & Responsibilities
- Monitor daily retail performance indicators including traffic, average transaction value, and monthly objectives across product categories
- Analyze sales performance by individual team members and identify coaching opportunities
- Evaluate product and collection performance using metrics such as sell-through rates, inventory coverage, slow-moving items, and best-sellers
- Contribute to purchasing decisions for new collections and track sales performance
- Provide analytical support to all boutique managers (sales, visual merchandising, tailoring) to enhance operational decision-making
- Coordinate the onboarding experience for new team members, including uniform distribution, access credentials, and IT tools
- Assist in preparation and facilitation of team briefings and informational meetings
- Support the Operations Manager in general services management to maintain boutique presentation standards
Qualifications
- Enrolled in or graduate of a business school, engineering school, or university
- Minimum six months of prior professional experience in analytical roles (management, finance, or marketing) or retail boutique environment
- Demonstrated interest in fashion and luxury retail
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; VBA knowledge is a plus
- Excellent presentation and strong interpersonal skills
