Chanel Store Operations Internship in Paris: support the Store Manager with back-office operations, retail analytics, and team coordination for 6 months.
Role & Responsibilities
- Monitor daily retail performance indicators including traffic, average transaction value, and monthly target attainment across product lines
- Analyze sales performance of individual boutique associates and merchandise performance
- Track product and collection performance metrics including sell-through rates, stock levels, best and slow-moving items, and merchandising placement
- Support the preparation and purchasing of new collections and monitor their sales performance
- Provide analytical support to all boutique managers (sales, visual merchandising, alterations) on specialized reporting for activity oversight
- Contribute to an exceptional employee experience through onboarding support, team briefing preparation, and day-to-day staff support
- Assist in organizing team briefings and information sessions on boutique activities
- Support the Store Operations Manager in general services management to maintain boutique image standards
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a business school, engineering school, or university program
- First experience of at least 6 months in analytical missions (management, finance, marketing) and/or boutique operations
- Strong interest in fashion and luxury goods
- Excellent numerical aptitude with versatility and dynamic approach
- Strong service orientation, attention to detail, and organizational capability
- Polished appearance and excellent interpersonal skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel including VBA (a plus)
- Proficiency in PowerPoint
- Designated liaison with department store teams for cross-functional interactions
Skills
Experience
First experience of at least 6 months in analytical functions (management, finance, marketing) and/or boutique operations. Knowledge of luxury retail environments is advantageous.
Education
Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a business school, engineering school, or university program.
