Role & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and harmonize boutique operations across the Kansai region to ensure adherence to Chanel’s maison standards and commercial objectives.
  • Support boutique managers with operational execution: stock allocation, product flow, inventory reconciliations and replenishment planning.
  • Implement visual merchandising directives and collaborate with VM teams to deliver seasonal window and in-store installations.
  • Drive clienteling activities and local CRM initiatives in partnership with boutique teams to maximise acquisition, retention and high-value client experiences.
  • Deliver training and mentoring to boutique staff on service standards, product knowledge, selling techniques and operational processes.
  • Act as primary liaison between boutiques and regional/head office functions (merchandising, logistics, retail operations and marketing).
  • Monitor regional KPIs, produce regular performance reports, and recommend corrective actions to improve sales, conversion and stock turnover.
  • Coordinate local events, trunk shows and private client appointments, ensuring flawless execution and alignment with brand protocols.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in luxury retail operations, ideally within a maison or premium fashion brand; multi-boutique coordination experience preferred.
  • Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated ability to analyse sales metrics and translate insight into operational priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a track record of coaching retail teams and influencing multi-disciplinary stakeholders.
  • Fluent Japanese; business-level English desirable to interact with regional offices and international teams.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to upholding brand standards and client confidentiality.
  • Valid driving licence and willingness to travel frequently across the Kansai region.
