Chanel is hiring a Boutique Manager in Osaka to lead boutique operations, drive sales and deliver exceptional client experiences.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead daily boutique operations to uphold Chanel’s brand standards, including store opening/closing, staff scheduling and adherence to corporate policies.
  • Drive boutique commercial performance by setting and achieving sales targets, analysing local KPIs and executing action plans.
  • Recruit, mentor and develop a high-performing sales team; deliver regular coaching, performance reviews and bespoke product training.
  • Own client development and retention strategies through personalised clienteling, CRM usage and local VIP engagement initiatives.
  • Ensure impeccable visual merchandising and stock presentation in collaboration with visual teams; manage inventory, stock replenishment and stocktaking procedures.
  • Plan and execute in-store events, private appointments and local marketing activations to deepen client relationships and elevate the brand proposition.
  • Manage administrative and financial responsibilities including cash control, daily reporting and collaboration with regional management on budgets and P&L oversight.
  • Maintain loss-prevention practices and ensure compliance with local regulatory and corporate governance requirements.

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership experience managing a luxury boutique or high-end retail store.
  • Demonstrable track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a premium retail environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with experience in inventory control and basic P&L awareness.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a client-centric approach and the ability to cultivate long-term relationships.
  • Capacity to lead and motivate a diverse team while maintaining discretion and high standards of presentation.
