Chanel seeks a Boutique Coordinator (BOHC) in Tokyo to oversee boutique operations across the Kanto region and ensure brand excellence.
Role & Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support boutique operations across the Kanto region to ensure consistent implementation of Chanel brand standards and client experience protocols.
- Act as the primary liaison between boutiques and Tokyo headquarters for operational initiatives, merchandising rollouts, inventory allocations and promotional events.
- Monitor regional KPIs, prepare operational reports and provide actionable recommendations to optimise sales performance, stock flow and staffing.
- Drive in‑store execution: visual merchandising compliance, clienteling processes, POS and CRM utilisation, and loss-prevention measures.
- Deliver training and coaching to boutique teams on operational procedures, client service standards and new product/service launches.
- Manage regional project timelines and logistics for events, product launches and inter-boutique support requests, including occasional travel within the Kanto area.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in multi-store retail operations, boutique coordination or store management within the premium or luxury sector.
- Demonstrated ability to translate corporate directives into consistent in-store execution and to coach frontline teams.
- Strong analytical aptitude with experience monitoring sales KPIs, inventory metrics and operational reporting.
- Excellent organisational skills, project-management capability and readiness to work flexible hours including regional travel.
- High level of discretion, cultural sensitivity and polished client-service orientation suitable for a luxury house.

Experience
Typically 3–5 years of progressive experience in luxury retail operations, regional store coordination or multi-site store management, ideally within an international fashion maison.
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in business, retail management, hospitality or a related field.
