Chanel Nagoya Boutique Sub Manager position—lead store operations, manage fashion advisors, and drive sales in Aichi, Japan.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement boutique sales plans and strategies
- Manage approximately ten fashion advisor staff members, including recruitment, training, evaluation, and performance coaching
- Collaborate with Store Manager, supervisors, and headquarters to communicate boutique needs to department store and vendor partners
- Plan and execute promotional events and campaigns in coordination with management and corporate teams
- Monitor product trends and inventory levels to optimize store operations and sales efficiency
- Execute customer relationship management activities including new customer acquisition and retention of existing clientele
- Oversee inventory management and cash handling including cash reconciliation and register auditing
- Manage expenses and financial metrics to ensure profitability targets are met
- Prevent and respond to theft, incidents, and customer complaints
- Serve as a role model and positive influence for all fashion advisors on the team
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of management experience in apparel retail or fashion
- Demonstrated experience managing teams of approximately 10 staff members
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5 years of apparel or fashion retail management experience is required. Candidates must demonstrate successful team management at supervisory or managerial level with proven ability to lead approximately 10 team members. Experience in high-end fashion retail or luxury goods is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; higher education or equivalent professional qualifications preferred.
