Chanel seeks a Boutique Advisor in Shenzhen to deliver luxury client service, drive sales and represent the maison in boutique operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised, anticipatory client service to a high-net-worth and local clientele, building long-term relationships and maximising lifetime value.
- Proactively drive boutique sales and meet or exceed individual and store KPIs through consultative selling and clienteling.
- Execute clienteling activities: maintain and update client records, follow up on appointments, manage VIP requests and coordinate bespoke services.
- Maintain impeccable product knowledge across fashion, leather goods and beauty categories; present merchandise with exacting standards of visual merchandising.
- Manage daily boutique operations including stock reception, inventory accuracy, merchandising resets and point-of-sale transactions.
- Support and represent the maison at client events, private appointments and product launches, ensuring confidentiality and brand-appropriate presentation.
- Collaborate with store leadership on local market initiatives, reporting and continuous improvement of the in-store client experience.
Qualifications
- Proven luxury retail experience, preferably in a high-end fashion or leather goods boutique.
- Demonstrable track record of meeting sales targets and developing repeat clients.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, discretion with VIP clientele and strong commercial awareness.
- Ability to present a polished brand image and to maintain meticulous standards of visual merchandising and product care.
- Flexibility to work retail hours, including evenings and weekends; lawful right to work in China (Shenzhen).
Skills
Experience
Typically 2+ years of progressive experience in luxury retail or boutique sales with demonstrable results in client development and target achievement. Experience handling VIP clients and private appointments preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or tertiary education in fashion, retail or hospitality preferred.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Shenzhen, Guangdong, China.
