Chanel in Beijing seeks a Boutique Advisor to deliver luxury client service and drive boutique sales at its Beijing store.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver exemplary, individualized client service consistent with Chanel’s brand standards to build long-term relationships and client loyalty.
  • Achieve and exceed boutique sales targets and KPIs through consultative selling and personalised styling.
  • Develop and maintain client portfolios using CRM tools; proactively manage appointments, follow-ups and after-sales service.
  • Present and maintain merchandise to exacting visual and merchandising directives; ensure product presentation and boutique ambience reflect brand guidelines.
  • Process transactions accurately using POS systems and manage cash handling and basic reconciliation procedures.
  • Support inventory control: receive, inspect and store incoming merchandise; assist with stock counts and loss-prevention practices.
  • Coordinate with boutique management and cross-functional teams on client events, private appointments and product launches.
  • Participate in ongoing brand and product training to maintain up-to-date knowledge of collections, materials and craftsmanship.

Qualifications

  • Proven luxury retail or premium brand sales experience (preferably 1–3+ years) with demonstrable sales performance.
  • Fluent Mandarin speaker with excellent interpersonal and communication skills; English language ability is an advantage.
  • Highly developed clienteling and relationship-management capability, with discretion and respect for client confidentiality.
  • Strong commercial awareness, numeracy and ability to meet quantitative sales targets.
  • Professional presentation and polished customer service demeanour appropriate to an elite luxury environment.
  • Available to work retail hours including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.

Experience
