Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate all administrative operations for Chanel boutiques across the Kanto region, ensuring consistent execution of corporate policies and standards.
- Act as primary liaison between regional boutiques and Tokyo/Global headquarters for HR administration, payroll queries, compliance and operational escalation.
- Oversee regional scheduling, timekeeping accuracy, employee records and local labour-law compliance in collaboration with HR and legal teams.
- Manage regional financial and administrative reporting including expense control, store reconciliations and preparation of ad hoc analyses for leadership.
- Drive process improvement initiatives to streamline boutique administrative workflows, POS procedures and inventory-administration interfaces.
- Support recruitment logistics, onboarding and local training coordination in partnership with boutique managers and People teams.
- Supervise relationships with external vendors and service providers (e.g., local payroll providers, facilities, security) and ensure SLAs are met.
- Provide hands-on operational support during peak periods, merchandising resets or boutique openings as required.
Qualifications
- Proven managerial experience in luxury retail administration or regional store operations, preferably covering multiple boutiques.
- Strong knowledge of retail administrative processes including payroll administration, timekeeping, expense controls and store compliance.
- Demonstrable financial literacy with experience producing operational reports, reconciliations and basic budgeting controls.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple projects and manage stakeholder expectations across functions.
- High level of discretion, professionalism and ability to work within a highly client-focused, luxury environment.

Experience
Typically requires 5+ years of progressive experience in retail operations or administration, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity supporting multiple store locations.
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business administration, hospitality, retail management or a related discipline preferred.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan.
