Chanel is hiring a Boutique Administration Coordinator (Kansai) in Osaka — coordinate boutique operations and administration across the Kansai region.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate administrative and operational tasks for Chanel boutiques across the Kansai region, ensuring consistent application of corporate policies and local compliance.
  • Serve as primary liaison between regional boutiques and Tokyo/HQ for operational requests, policy clarifications, and escalations.
  • Prepare, consolidate and analyse routine operational reports (sales, stock variances, boutique performance) and deliver accurate summaries to regional management.
  • Manage expense reconciliation, invoice processing and basic budget tracking for boutique initiatives and regional events.
  • Support recruitment logistics, onboarding paperwork and scheduling for boutique staff in the Kansai area.
  • Coordinate boutique opening/closing procedures, temporary store support, and cross-boutique resource allocation.
  • Organise and support regional events, client visits and merchandising roll-outs, including vendor coordination and travel arrangements.
  • Drive continuous improvement of administrative workflows and ensure accurate record-keeping for audits and compliance reviews.

Qualifications

  • Proven administrative or coordination experience in luxury retail or premium retail operations, ideally supporting multiple store locations.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise concurrently running projects and meet strict deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and proven ability to liaise with senior stakeholders.
  • High degree of discretion, attention to detail and adherence to brand standards.
  • Comfortable working with financial documents, basic budget tracking and reconciliations.
