Chanel is hiring a Bilingual Receptionist in Toronto. Client‑facing front desk role requiring English/French fluency and strong administrative skills.
Role & Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and visitors, providing discreet, polite and polished reception services in both English and French.
- Manage incoming phone lines, emails and enquiries; route messages and coordinate follow-ups with boutique or corporate teams.
- Receive and check in clients for appointments, manage appointment schedules and coordinate calendar logistics for sales and clienteling teams.
- Maintain an immaculate and welcoming reception area; oversee visitor access, security sign‑in procedures and parcel handling.
- Support administrative tasks including document preparation, data entry in CRM systems, basic reporting and liaison with internal departments and external service providers.
Qualifications
- Fluent in English and French, with superior spoken and written communication in both languages.
- Professional demeanour with proven client‑facing experience in luxury retail, hospitality or an upscale corporate reception environment.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands and manage a dynamic appointment book.
- High attention to detail and discretion when handling confidential client information.
- Comfort with basic administrative IT tools and point‑of‑sale procedures; strong phone etiquette.

Experience
Preferably 1–3 years of client‑facing experience in luxury retail, hospitality or a premium corporate reception role; prior exposure to high‑volume appointment management and clienteling is advantageous.
Education
Secondary school diploma required; post‑secondary certificate in hospitality, administration or a related discipline is preferred.
