Chanel seeks a Beauty Therapist (Perfumes & Beauty) in Guangzhou to provide luxury skincare treatments and personalised client service.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver professional facial and beauty treatments consistent with Chanel protocols and product lines.
- Conduct skin and fragrance consultations to assess client needs and recommend tailored solutions.
- Convert consultations into sales through expert product demonstrations, sampling and bespoke recommendations.
- Manage bookings, client records and follow‑up to cultivate long‑term client relationships (clienteling).
- Maintain boutique presentation and product merchandising to brand standards, including stock replenishment and inventory control.
- Ensure strict hygiene, sanitation and treatment-room safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Meet individual and team performance KPIs, including sales targets, conversion rates and repeat business metrics.
Qualifications
- Vocational qualification in cosmetology, esthetics, or a related discipline; professional esthetician/cosmetician certification preferred.
- Demonstrable experience working with luxury cosmetics or skincare brands, ideally in a boutique or department‑store counter environment.
- Proven ability to deliver consultative sales and personalised client service in a high‑end retail setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills, cultural sensitivity and discretion when working with high‑net‑worth clients.
Skills
Experience
Preferably 1–3 years of experience in luxury beauty or skincare retail, with direct exposure to counter sales and professional treatment delivery; prior experience with prestige fragrance or cosmetics brands is advantageous.
Education
Vocational diploma or certificate in cosmetology/esthetician studies; specialized training in facial and skin treatments preferred.
