Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised, high‑touch beauty consultations and product recommendations across skincare, makeup and fragrance to meet individual client needs.
- Drive sales and achieve individual and boutique KPIs through proactive client engagement, upselling and conversion of walk‑in traffic.
- Maintain impeccable visual merchandising and product presentation in line with Chanel brand standards and seasonal directives.
- Manage stockroom replenishment, inventory accuracy and timely point‑of‑sale transactions; support opening/closing procedures.
- Provide makeover and sampling services, ensure hygiene and sanitary protocols for testers and tools, and execute gift wrapping and packaging to brand specifications.
- Document client interactions and preferences in the boutique CRM to support future clienteling and follow‑up.
- Cover seasonal shifts, including evenings, weekends and peak retail periods, and collaborate with store leadership on promotions and events.
Qualifications
- Previous retail experience in prestige beauty or cosmetics, ideally within a luxury house or high‑end department store.
- Strong interpersonal and consultative selling skills with a proven ability to build rapport and long‑term client relationships.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, target-driven retail environment and able to meet measurable sales objectives.
- Professional presentation, attention to detail and adherence to brand standards.
- Flexibility to work variable hours typical of seasonal retail cover, including weekends and holidays.
Skills
Experience
Preferably 1+ year of direct experience in cosmetics or luxury beauty retail; experience handling seasonal peaks and high‑volume footfall is advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational certification in cosmetology, aesthetics or beauty therapy is a plus.
