Chanel seeks a Beauty Leader in Rio de Janeiro to lead the beauty counter team, drive sales and deliver exceptional client experiences.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations of the Chanel beauty counter in Rio de Janeiro, ensuring brand standards across service, merchandising and presentation.
- Coach, motivate and develop the beauty team to exceed individual and store sales targets and KPIs through regular feedback, training and performance management.
- Deliver exceptional client experiences through personalised skincare and makeup consultations, clienteling and relationship-building to grow loyalty and repeat business.
- Manage appointment schedules, in-store demonstrations and beauty services (makeovers, consultations), ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with health and safety protocols.
- Oversee stock control and visual merchandising for the beauty assortment; coordinate with store management on inventory replenishment, promotions and launches.
- Ensure accurate daily reporting of sales, conversion rates and team performance; implement corrective actions to optimise results.
Qualifications
- Proven retail leadership experience within prestige beauty or luxury cosmetics — typically 3+ years in retail with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Demonstrable expertise in makeup application and skincare consultations, with strong clienteling and upselling capabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to train and inspire a diverse team while maintaining strict brand standards.
- Fluent in Portuguese; professional working proficiency in English is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic sales reporting; strong organisational aptitude and attention to detail.

Experience
Candidate should bring at least three years of retail experience in luxury beauty or cosmetics, including a minimum of one year supervising or leading a sales team and demonstrable track record of meeting sales KPIs and developing client relationships.
Education
Secondary education required; vocational training or certification in cosmetology, makeup artistry or a related discipline preferred.
