Chanel in Sydney, New South Wales seeks a Beauty Facialist to deliver luxury facial treatments and drive skincare sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver bespoke facial treatments and skin therapies in accordance with Chanel protocols and treatment menus.
- Conduct professional skin analysis and personalised consultations to recommend treatment plans and homecare regimens.
- Achieve and exceed individual and boutique skincare sales targets through professional recommendations and retail conversion.
- Maintain impeccable treatment-room presentation, hygiene and sanitation standards in line with regulatory and brand requirements.
- Manage appointment bookings, client records and follow-up communications to cultivate long-term client relationships (clienteling).
- Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and participate in brand training, product launches and in-store events.
- Support inventory management for treatment supplies and retail stock, and assist with merchandising during promotional periods.
Qualifications
- Diploma or certificate in Beauty Therapy / Aesthetics (CIDESCO, CIBTAC, ITEC or equivalent preferred).
- Current relevant licences or registrations required by Australian state regulations (e.g., infection control/hygiene certifications).
- Demonstrable ability to meet retail sales targets and convert treatment clients into retail customers.
- Strong communication skills, discretion and a high standard of professional presentation.
Skills
Experience
Typically 2+ years delivering professional facial treatments within a luxury spa, salon or prestige beauty counter, with a proven record of building repeat clientele and achieving sales targets.
Education
Diploma in Beauty Therapy or equivalent (CIDESCO/CIBTAC/ITEC preferred).
