Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver high-touch, personalised consultations for fragrance, skincare and makeup clients, tailoring recommendations to individual needs and preferences.
- Achieve and exceed individual sales targets and KPIs while promoting full-range product knowledge across perfume and beauty categories.
- Develop and maintain a robust client portfolio through proactive clienteling, follow-ups and booking of in-store appointments.
- Perform professional make-up applications, product demonstrations and fragrance fittings to luxury standards.
- Maintain boutique presentation to brand standards including merchandising, product replenishment and stock rotation.
- Process sales transactions accurately using the store POS, manage returns and ensure compliance with retail cash-handling procedures.
- Participate in product training, sales meetings and in-store events; act as an ambassador for new launches and promotional activities.
- Adhere to brand policies on hygiene, visual standards and regulatory requirements for cosmetics handling.
Qualifications
- Proven retail experience in cosmetics, fragrance or luxury beauty; demonstrated ability to meet sales targets.
- Professional make-up artistry or cosmetology certification preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build long-term client relationships.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining brand presentation standards.
- Flexible availability including weekends, evenings and peak retail periods.
- Legal right to work in China and willingness to work on-site in Suzhou.
Skills
Experience
1–3 years’ experience in luxury cosmetics, fragrance or high-end retail sales, with demonstrable success in client acquisition and retention.
Education
Secondary education; vocational training or certification in cosmetology, beauty therapy or makeup artistry preferred.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Suzhou, Jiangsu, China.
