Chanel seeks a Beauty Consultant (Perfume & Cosmetics) in Xiamen — client-facing role delivering fragrance, skincare and makeup expertise.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver bespoke fragrance, skincare and makeup consultations tailored to each client's needs and preferences.
- Provide product demonstrations, makeovers and application advice to educate and inspire customers.
- Achieve individual and store sales targets through active client engagement, upselling and cross-selling.
- Build and maintain a proprietary client book: manage appointments, follow-ups and personalised service touches.
- Maintain boutique presentation standards: merchandising, stock replenishment, inventory accuracy and visual standards consistent with Chanel guidelines.
- Participate in product training, brand initiatives and promotional events; ensure compliance with health, safety and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to deliver high-touch client service in a luxury retail environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a consultative sales approach.
- Polished presentation and professional grooming consistent with luxury brand standards.
- Ability to work flexible retail hours, including weekends and peak seasonal periods.
- Cosmetology certification or beauty-related training preferred.

Experience
Typically 1–2 years of hands-on experience in cosmetics, skincare or fragrance sales; prior exposure to prestige or luxury beauty brands strongly preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in cosmetology, beauty therapy or a related discipline is advantageous.
