Chanel seeks a Beauty Consultant — Fragrance & Beauty in Nanning to provide makeup, skincare and fragrance consultations and build lasting client relationships.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised fragrance, skincare and makeup consultations that align with Chanel brand standards and client expectations.
- Perform in-boutique product demonstrations, make-up applications and skin analysis to educate and convert luxury clientele.
- Build and maintain a loyal client book through proactive clienteling, follow-ups and appointment management.
- Achieve and exceed individual and boutique sales targets through tailored recommendations, cross-selling and upselling.
- Maintain visual merchandising, product presentation and stock levels in accordance with brand guidelines.
- Record client interactions, preferences and transactions accurately in the CRM/POS systems and comply with sales and inventory procedures.
- Participate in brand training, product launches, and promotional activities to sustain product expertise and boutique performance.
Qualifications
- Proven retail experience in cosmetics, fragrance or luxury beauty (ideally 1–3 years in a premium brand environment).
- Professional training or certification in cosmetology, make-up artistry or skincare is preferred.
- Demonstrable track record of achieving sales targets and building lasting client relationships.
- Strong interpersonal skills, discretion and the ability to represent a luxury brand with impeccable service.
- Availability to work retail hours including weekends and public holidays as required.

Experience
Preferably 1–3 years of hands-on experience in luxury cosmetics, perfume or beauty retail, with demonstrated sales performance and client development within a premium boutique setting.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in beauty, cosmetology or make-up artistry preferred.
Workplace
This position is based in Nanning, Guangxi, China.
