Chanel in Richmond, UK is hiring a Beauty Confidant to deliver high-touch beauty consultations and drive boutique sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver high-touch, personalised beauty consultations and makeup applications tailored to each client's needs and preferences.
- Achieve and exceed individual and boutique sales targets through expert product recommendations and proactive clientelling.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships using follow-up, appointment management and CRM tools to maximise retention and lifetime value.
- Maintain encyclopaedic product knowledge across skincare, fragrance and colour ranges and communicate brand heritage and benefits persuasively.
- Execute counter visual merchandising and stock replenishment to company standards and assist with new product launches and in-store events.
- Process transactions, returns and samples accurately using POS systems while ensuring compliance with hygiene, safety and brand protocols.
Qualifications
- Minimum one year of experience in cosmetics, beauty or luxury retail; previous experience with premium beauty brands preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to deliver consultative sales.
- Proven track record of meeting sales KPIs and building a loyal client base.
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and peak seasonal periods; legal right to work in the UK.
- Professional presentation and commitment to Chanel's high standards of client service and discretion.
Skills
Experience
At least one year of hands‑on experience in beauty or cosmetics retail, ideally within the luxury segment; demonstrable sales performance and client relationship management experience are highly desirable.
Education
Secondary education; vocational certification in beauty, cosmetology or related fields preferred but not mandatory.
