Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exemplary, personalised client service that reflects Chanel’s luxury standards and builds long-term client relationships.
- Proactively drive beauty sales and conversion through expert product recommendations across makeup, skincare and fragrance.
- Maintain in-depth product knowledge and communicate technical benefits, application techniques and regimen advice to clients.
- Execute clienteling activities: book appointments, follow up post-sale, manage CRM records and nurture repeat business.
- Uphold visual merchandising and presentation standards on counter and displays; ensure product replenishment and stock accuracy.
- Operate point-of-sale systems, process transactions and assist with store administrative tasks as required.
- Support in-store events, launches and trunk shows, acting as an ambassador for the Chanel beauty proposition.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in beauty retail or luxury cosmetics sales; experience within a prestige brand is highly desirable.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrable client-focused mindset.
- Ability to deliver makeup application and skincare consultations with technical accuracy and discretion.
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
- Professional demeanour, reliability and flexibility to work retail hours including weekends and peak trading periods.
Skills
Experience
Typically 1–3 years of direct experience in beauty or luxury cosmetics retail; prior exposure to premium or haute-beauty brands preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in cosmetology, beauty therapy, or related disciplines is advantageous.
