Chanel in Stockholm seeks a temporary Beauty Boutique Associate — a client-facing luxury beauty sales role covering a boutique position.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, personalised client consultations across makeup and skincare to build long-term relationships and drive repeat business.
- Achieve individual and boutique sales targets through proactive clienteling, cross-selling and conversion of walk-in clients.
- Perform makeup applications, product demonstrations and bespoke regimen recommendations consistent with Chanel techniques and standards.
- Maintain boutique presentation to Chanel visual merchandising standards, including product replenishment, gondola styling and housekeeping.
- Process transactions, manage returns and follow point-of-sale (POS) protocols accurately and securely.
- Support inventory tasks: receive stock, perform cycle counts, report discrepancies and assist with stock transfers.
- Act as a temporary cover: quickly assimilate into the team, complete handover duties and support peak trading hours, special events and client appointments.
- Ensure compliance with brand policies, loss-prevention procedures and local regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in luxury beauty or cosmetics retail (typically 1+ year) or formal training in makeup artistry/cosmetology.
- Demonstrable ability to deliver professional makeup applications and tailored skincare advice.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a polished, client-facing manner.
- Flexible schedule availability, including weekends and evenings; able to work shifts as required for temporary cover.
- Legal right to work in Sweden.

Experience
Typically 1+ year of direct experience in luxury beauty retail or as a professional makeup artist; prior experience covering temporary or maternity leave roles in a boutique environment is an advantage.
Education
No formal university degree required; vocational qualification or diploma in cosmetology/makeup artistry is preferred but not mandatory.
