Chanel is hiring a seasonal Beauty Boutique Associate in Gothenburg — client-facing role delivering luxury beauty consultations and driving boutique sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised, consultative beauty and fragrance advice to a discerning clientele, driving conversion and average transaction value.
- Maintain intimate product knowledge across makeup, skincare and fragrance ranges; demonstrate and apply products with professional technique.
- Execute high-touch clienteling: build and sustain client relationships, manage appointments, follow up on sales and secure future bookings.
- Achieve individual and boutique sales targets during the seasonal period and contribute to team objectives.
- Uphold flagship visual merchandising and boutique presentation standards; ensure displays, sampling and gifting meet brand guidelines.
- Operate the point-of-sale, process transactions, manage returns and maintain accurate till reconciliation and paperwork.
- Receive and process stock deliveries, conduct stock counts, manage inventory rotation and report discrepancies.
- Support in-store events, product launches and promotional initiatives; represent the brand with discretion and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Previous retail experience in beauty, cosmetics or luxury services; experience with premium brands preferred.
- Proven track record of consultative selling and achieving sales targets in a client-facing environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills, polished presentation and the ability to connect with an affluent client base.
- Flexibility to work retail hours, including evenings, weekends and peak seasonal shifts.
- Right to work in Sweden for the duration of the seasonal assignment.
Skills
Experience
Preferred: 1–2 years of retail experience in beauty or luxury goods with demonstrable sales performance and client relationship management. Ability to onboard rapidly for a seasonal assignment and sustain high service standards under peak traffic.
Education
Secondary education or equivalent; vocational or beauty qualifications (cosmetology, make-up artistry) advantageous but not mandatory.
