Chanel — 3-month Beauty & Fragrance Advisor internship in Nice starting July 2025. Client-facing role in a Chanel boutique.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exemplary client service in a boutique environment: welcome clients, conduct consultations, provide personalised product recommendations and ensure a refined retail experience.
- Support sales activity by conducting product demonstrations, sampling and fragrance introductions to drive conversion and average transaction value.
- Maintain merchandising and visual standards according to brand guidelines, including product presentation, signage and seasonal displays.
- Manage stock and back-office tasks: receive and replenish deliveries, process POS transactions, assist with inventory control and housekeeping duties.
- Participate in training sessions and product education to deepen knowledge of fragrance and cosmetics ranges and brand heritage.
- Assist with boutique events, client outreach initiatives and the preparation of client dossiers or follow-up communications as requested by the management team.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a programme in business, luxury retail, cosmetics, fashion or a related discipline.
- Strong interest in luxury beauty and fragrance with a desire to develop expertise in product knowledge and clienteling.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; confident in one-to-one client interactions and consultations.
- High standards of personal presentation, attention to detail and the ability to uphold Chanel’s service and visual merchandising codes.
- Availability for a three-month internship beginning July 2025 and flexibility to work retail hours including weekends and evenings.
- Fluent French is strongly preferred; proficiency in English is an asset.

Experience
No extensive prior experience required; previous exposure to retail, customer service, or beauty counters is advantageous but not mandatory. The internship is designed for candidates seeking practical, client-facing experience within a luxury beauty environment.
Education
Enrolment in or recent completion of a post-secondary programme (e.g., Bachelor, BTS, DUT) in business, luxury retail, cosmetics, fashion or a related field.
