Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional client service and personalised beauty consultations across skincare, fragrance and colour cosmetics.

  • Achieve individual and boutique sales targets through proactive clienteling, appointment management and follow‑up.
  • Maintain merchandising and visual standards to reflect Chanel’s image, including window and counter presentation.
  • Operate point‑of‑sale systems, process transactions and support stock control and inventory procedures.
  • Participate in product and brand training sessions; contribute to in‑store events and promotional activities.
  • Record client data and service history accurately in the CRM to support long‑term relationship building.

Qualifications

  • Enrollment in a recognised work‑study or apprenticeship program (alternance) beginning September 2026.
  • Valid right to work in France for the duration of the alternance contract.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, professional presentation and a demonstrable passion for luxury beauty.
  • Availability to work retail hours including evenings, weekends and peak sales periods.
  • Ability to follow brand protocols and adapt to Chanel’s high standards of client experience and product stewardship.

Experience

Education

Enrolment in a vocational or higher education programme related to cosmetics, retail, business or hospitality (e.g. CAP, BTS, or equivalent) as part of a formal alternance arrangement.
