Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalised beauty consultations and make‑up/skincare services to discerning clientele across the Reims area, maintaining Chanel’s standards of service and discretion.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships through proactive clienteling, appointment management and post‑sales follow‑up to maximise customer lifetime value.
  • Achieve individual and boutique sales targets through expert product knowledge, targeted recommendations and persuasive selling techniques.
  • Support boutique merchandising and visual standards, ensuring product presentation reflects Chanel’s aesthetic and promotional directives.
  • Operate point‑of‑sale systems, process transactions and assist with stock replenishment, inventory controls and loss‑prevention measures.
  • Participate in on‑the‑job training and formal study components of the alternance programme, integrating academic learning with practical retail responsibilities.
  • Contribute to boutique events and product launches, assisting with client invitations, demonstrations and service delivery as required.

Qualifications

  • Eligible and enrolled in an approved work‑study (alternance) programme starting September 2026 in cosmetics, retail, sales or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrable customer‑facing experience (internship, part‑time retail or vocational placements preferred) with a strong service orientation.
